MIDI Converter Studio is designed to be user friendly, which means that usually you don't need to study help or set some specific options. However, it is also a customizable tool. It allows you to use different SoundFonts, to set quality of output files, and to make a couple of other settings.
Click on menu "File", select "Options".
New window appears.
Here you can set conversion mode either to "Sound recording", or to "Rendering using soundfont file". In the upper part there are two checkboxes:
Reset status of conversion when you press "Convert" - when checked, the program will reset status of all files in the list to "Not processed" every time you click "Convert" button. Note that the program converts every file in the list, even if they were converted previously. To remove processed files from the list, use the second option.
Auto clear output files list after conversion is done - when checked, the program removes successfully converted files from the conversion list. If operation is aborted, only completed files will be removed. The rest can be processed later with a click on "Convert" button.
"Devices" tab determines what devices MIDI Converter Studio will use on your system. It is applicable only if you use "Sound recording" mode. Normally the program detects preferable devices automatically.
On "Output Formats" tab you can set quality of output files.
Download now!I also use the MIDI converter software to create audio CDs for choir members to learn their parts. Some of them don't have computers and e-mail to use MIDI files, so with the converter I can give them a CD to play on standard audio equipment.
